Major Incident Declared After School Bus Overturns Near Carrowdore, County Down
A major incident
has been declared after a school bus overturned on Ballyblack Road East near
the village of Carrowdore in County Down, leaving dozens injured.
According to Sky
News, over 60 people were on board, with at least 50 sustaining minor injuries
and eight being treated for more serious wounds.
An air ambulance
and advanced paramedics were dispatched to the scene, along with five fire and
rescue vehicles and a specialist rescue team.
Police have
described the crash as a “serious road traffic collision.” More details will
